Frequently Asked Questions

What is Yield?

Yield makes organic fruit & veggie smoothie pouches built on a base of navy bean puree, giving each pouch a meaningful dose of plant protein and fiber alongside real fruit and vegetables. No added sugar, no artificial anything.

What's in each pouch?

Each flavor is a blend of organic fruit and vegetable purees plus organic navy bean puree and a touch of vanilla. Full ingredient decks are on each product page. Every flavor is organic, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, and soy-free, with no added sugar, salt, or preservatives.

What flavors do you offer?

Four right now: Wild Berries & Apple, Tropical Mango & Orange, Classic Strawberry & Banana, and Vibrant Greens & Pear. There's also the 5-Day Fiber Reset, a 15-pouch kit with a mix of all four.

Why navy bean?

Navy bean is what gives Yield pouches more protein (6–7g) and fiber (9–10g) per pouch than a typical fruit pouch, without changing the flavor much — it blends into the fruit and veggie purees rather than standing out on its own.

Why does it have sugar if there's no added sugar?

All the sugar in a Yield pouch comes from the fruit itself — none is added. Depending on the flavor, that's 14–20g of naturally occurring fruit sugar per pouch, the same as you'd get from eating the fruit whole.

Who is Yield for?

Yield is built for adults who want an easy way to get real fruit, vegetables, and plant protein into a busy day — without cooking, blending, or planning ahead.

  • Busy professionals and parents who want real food that keeps up with a packed schedule.
  • Anyone eating on the go — commuting, traveling, or between meetings — who wants something more substantial than a granola bar.
  • People trying to hit daily fruit, veggie, protein, or fiber goals without extra kitchen prep.
  • Active people — hikers, gym-goers, weekend warriors — looking for portable, whole-food fuel.
  • Older kids and teens who've outgrown baby pouches but still want an easy, healthy snack.

Yield isn't a meal replacement or a medical or therapeutic product — just real food made convenient. There's nothing in the formula that's off-limits for younger kids either.

How should I store them?

Pouches are shelf-stable at room temperature — no fridge or freezer needed until you open one. Once opened, refrigerate and use within 48 hours. Keep pouches in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.

How long do they last?

Unopened, pouches are shelf-stable for 15–18 months at room temperature depending on packaging. Check the printed date on the pouch for the exact expiration.

How do I know if a pouch has gone bad?

Don't use a pouch if the lid seal is broken or the pouch looks damaged or inflated — that's a sign it should be tossed rather than opened.

Where are Yield pouches made?

Our pouches are produced with Fruselva in Chile using certified organic fruit, vegetable, and legume purees.
